In this course, you will learn to identify 75 trees commonly found in Georgia. Of course, these trees are also common in most states in the Southeastern U.S., so if you’re from another state in this region, you’re more than welcome here.

75 trees sounds like a lot, right? We’ll break the course up into manageable sections, covering groups of about 10 trees at a time, all with similar characteristics. I’ll share tricks on identifying each, and you’ll be ready to head out and start naming trees in no time.

Requirements to complete Trees of Georgia:

  1. Earn at least 80% on each lesson quiz.
    • Watch interactive video lecture and use study tools to practice material.
  2. Earn 80% on the Final Exam (including all 75 tree species).
    • Certificate of completion is available when you complete all quizzes and final exam.
